Description

This module is designed to provide the mathematical basis, understanding, intuition, and skills required for chemistry at degree level. The course begins by introducing differentiation as a rate of change. The general rules of differentiation are introduced, and applied to specific classes of function. In the second part of the course, integration and basic differential equations will be introduced. Application to practical chemical problems will be used and the concepts related to other chemistry units.
